Tiger Temple - VIP morning program vs afternoon+cub feeding

We've been reading up on the Tiger Temple but can't decide whether to spend the big bucks to go with the VIP morning program, or just do the afternoon program and add on cub feeding.

Is there a big difference between the VIP morning program and the afternoon program (plus cub feeding)? Is the difference worth the big difference in price (I think about US $400 for the three of us)?

Thank you!

I'm planning for Tiger Temple too. How do you arrange your way there? I intend to hire van but anybody can advise is it do-able for morning MaeKlong (train market) then proceed to Tiger temple? Just want 2 places for a day tour.

I did the morning VIP tour with Tour with Tong , we stopped at the Bridge over the river Kwai first and then onto the Tiger Temple for the VIP tour , it's fantastic and well worth the money. After the tiger temple we did an elephant bath (see display photo <------) which was also fantastic.

Here is a few photos on my blog

I would suggest you to do afternoon program on your own.

Look at Day 3 of my JBR.

Hi the VIP tour is a bit special and worth the extra. A large chunk of the cost goes to the Temple and not the guide. Is an early start though and long day but you can nap on the way down, you will have some breakfast with the monks.

Other guides do offer the tour as well have a look in the faqs I can recommend Wandee wandee@wandeetours.com Never let us down or disapointed over the years.

Quite an experience

I have only done the VIP morning tour, which was brilliant (Tours with Tong) and I would highly recommend it. Our guide told us that most people go in the afternoon so it can get very crowded - particularly in high season. I do not think it would be the same experience if there were too many people there.
