Getting back to Bangkok from Siracha

How do I get back to Bangkok from Siracha? Siracha is aprox. 2 hours from Bangkok on the eastern coastline, a couple miles before you get to Pattaya beach. Has anyone gone there and know a bus/ time frame they've used to get back to Bangkok? Maybe the buses coming back from Pattaya stop there on their way back to Bangkok?

No need to rent a van. There's frequent bus and van service. The buses go to Ekkamai and the vans to Victory Monument. Both will stop at one of the outlying BTS Skytrain stations for you, and you can continue to take the BTS into town.

Or, head to Pattaya City if you want and check out that city for a while. Bus terminal is on North Pattaya Road but closer to the Sukhumvit Road end.

(Hotels in Pattaya City area cheaper than Bangkok.)

Bus ride from that bus terminal to Ekamai is around 124 baht.

Up to you.

Done this trip many times from Bangkok, when we have been to Koh SiChang. Plenty of white vans and buses go to and from Bangkok.

I prefer the white van from Victory Monument should be 100 Baht or slightly less. However the bus stop on the main Sukhumvit Rd outside Robinson's in Sri Racha is a good 25 minute walk from the pier, most of the shops and the sea.

Thanks for all your advice. I am going to the island of Ko Si Chang, the last ferry at 1800 takes you back to the mainland to Siracha, i will be walking forward to the bus area and wait and see what buses are going back to Bangkok. I do not want to go to Pattaya but thanks for the suggestion, we are just looking for a slow paced relaxing time :)
