Christmas and birthday lunch/dinner

Hi, we are staying at Pathumwan Princess at the end of December and looking at having Christmas lunch (or dinner) somewhere, also it will be my 30th birthday on the day of departure. Is there any place that you recommend for Christmas festivities / birthday celebrations or is the Loy Nava cruise a nice way of celebrating??

Thanks! :)

Also, I see there's a Thai dinner with dance show available. Is this worth doing? :) does anyone know where this is at?

What do you mean by "Christmas lunch"? What type of food are you looking for?

There are some venues that offer "traditional" Christmas fair. But, I haven't seen any being promoted as of yet.

There are also some pretty good international buffets that might fill the bill.

Thanks for the replies so far.

We aren't too fussed where we eat for our Christmas meal. Just thought it'd be nice for it to be traditional, if possible.

Pathumwan has advised they will have Christmas dining. Details to be finalised at the end of October/early November. Does anyone have experience dining here on Christmas day?

Was looking at the Thai dinner and dance show as another option. Or would it be crowded then?

Thank you :)

The best 5 star hotel international bruches I've had were at the Intercontinental hotel and St Regis Hotel. These are in terms of ambience as well as food selection, quality and taste. Never tried during Xmas though. May I reiterate BRUNCH not lunch cause buffet lunch at intercont was just average.
