Something different.

Siriraj Medical Museum.

Many tourists have a good time simply doing nothing special at all! They walk the city a bit in busy areas like Phetchaburi Road and Nana/Asoke areas. Have a nice meal - sit in a pub and talk to other tourists.

Some tourists pull up a seat at a sidewalk cafe, doesn't even have to be expensive, and watch the free carnival pass by.

Up to you.

Ayutthaya ... the temple ruins there are nothing like anything you'll see in CM - we did a day trip ( a great taste) but next time we'll stay a few days.

You could also do a day trip to somewhere like River Kwai and Hellfire Pass

Take a ride up the Chao Phraya - go as far as you want for 18baht & back for the same price
