Has anyone used AIRBNB to book their accommodation?

Trying to find an apartment to fit 2 adults and 2 kids in the Sukhumvit, lower soi area. I am wondering if anyone has used this website and has any apartments they can recommend? Thanks very much.

Don't know what apartments they might have in lower Sukhumvit but this link to a previous thread would tend to indicate they are a reputable company.

I'm an airbnb host myself on the Gold Coast so I know for certain they are reputable, but I would only go with places that already have feedback.

thanks Cassnu......it is really strange to book a holiday this way and not just book a hotel. I did notice some have no feedback. Will take that into account.

Nessbali, I'm currently looking at Bangkok for next year, there are some really nice properties for such great prices.

I know, they seem to be much cheaper then hotels, and the extra space you would have is what I want. I did find 1 I like in Bangkok but she can't vacate the premise as she is expecting a baby. I am also looking at Penang and KL. I also have a budget I am trying to keep it under and also looking at ones with good feedback.

Airbnb is quite safe to use, however most apartments are not in the same areas as hotels are - I've found that most are apartments in outlying areas.
