What would you do?

Flying back from Chiang Mai to Phuket via Bangkok DMK, then back to Bangkok for final 3 nights from 30th Jan........now considering staying in Phuket for a further 2 nights then flying back to Bangkok to stay at an airport hotel on the 1st for our flight home on the 2nd.....what would you do?

I fly out on the 13th, arrive 14th......don't really want to leave it that late and try to change flights from a hotel room!

I would still visit Bangkok. They say they wont target airports or the skytrain. But its a gamble and a very personal decision.

I think it would be a terrible shame if you have not been before to miss out Bangkok altogether (unless of course you plan to use this as an excuse to visit again when things have calmed down, LOL). but of course you must consider your own safety and do whatever you personaly feel comfortable with.

I would stay with your original plan, unless the situation in Bangkok actually changes, Perfectly ok at the minute.

I'm flying out next weekend, will be spending 3 nights in Bangkok at the end of Jan, and also 2 nights in Bangkok in mid-Feb. I see no reason to change my plans currently.

All you need to do is keep an eye on the situation, & not worry about it
