Wat Benjamaborpit ( Marble Temple)

I asked for advice a few days ago when I was concerned about visiting Sukhumvit Rd due to Protestors. The community were very helpful, with posts, we visited and had a great time. Can I ask a similar question? We had planned to go to the Marble Temple, we were going to walk from the river either Pier Tha Thewen or Tha Phayap. I am aware that the Temple is close to Government House as well as other government buildings. What is the situation around there currently? Could we make this visit as planned? I am aware that it is a fair walk, but we do like to do these kind of walks, we see a lot of Bangkok en route. Is there a reliable web site that gives info re areas of Bangkok that tourists should avoid?

Thanks for any advice offered,

JSGJ
