Bangkok Noi boat trip

Hi there

Visiting Bangkok in July. Can anyone tell me how and where I would book a boat trip around the canals of Thonburi - think its called Bangkok Noi.

Also want to visit Wat Arun but again we do not know how to get over to that side of the river.

We are staying at the Chillax Resort which is close to Khao San.

Thank you in advance for any info xxx

Hi,

Wat Arun is easy enough to reach since there is a ferry which crosses the river from Tha Tien pier. The latter is used by many to visit the Grand Palace. Unable to help with your first question but you may be able to arrange something at your hotel or with a longtail owner at Central Pier which is close to Saphan Taksin Skytrain station.

We loved the Rice Barge Tour where you first get a long tail boat around the khlongs and then transfer to an old, converted rice barge for the return journey.
