Take a taxi which is by far the easiest way to get to Thonburi station.

Make sure you have change in notes or coins before you get in a taxi and make sure you use a metered taxi as other ones tend to charge more as we have found some times they ask for a tip and add it straight away to the total before you get out of the taxi which usually equals much more than you want to give! We've learned our lesson, we gave a 500 bht note for a 350 journey which includes a tip and it took us ages to get change bk and charged us going through 2 tolls when we only went through 1! If you've got change then you give the correct amount and don't come away feeling conned!

You don't need exact change/Baht. The toll will change whatever note you have.
