2 full days in Chiang Mai with family of 4 adults

Can tours be booked cheaper while there in Chiang Mai ? If so where can we find them ? Due to flight restraints we only have two days. Any suggested itinerary will be helpful. Like to visit white temple ,long neck tribe, bamboo rafting, elephant ride and also the golden triangle if possible.

Thanks.

The Golden Triangle and The White Temple are 3 - 4 hours Nth of Chiang Mai (with no stops). It is do-able in a day, but keep in mind you are up for 8 - 10 hours sitting in a vehicle to get there and back, which leaves you minimum time to actually see anything.

You can do bamboo rafting, an elephant camp and hill tribe visit in a one day trip. Yes, you can book this when you get there. You can choose to go on a group tour - or hire a guide yourselves and do a day trip with the guide. With only two days you might want to get it organised before you go. These three things would be one day trip. The Golden Triangle and White Temple would be another full day trip (a very long day). This won't leave you any time to see Chiang Mai itself.

With only two days I think you are better spending the second day doing a visit to the mountain nearby Chiang Mai - Doi Suthep and also having a look around town at some of the city temples and old city.
