lots of building works going on!!

Just a thought for anyone who are at the moment looking at booking accommodation. We have just got back from Koh Samui and hired a jeep for the 2 weeks. So we traveled all over the island and found lots of building works going on.Before you book ask!.

The last statement "Before you book ask" is a must these days for Samui but even then more often than not you are not told about any works or at least never the full extent.

This is why sites like this are invaluable to people planning trips to Samui or anywhere for that matter because you get good honest people either on the ground or just returned to give up to date advice.

Hi Sharon. Was wondering how your holiday went. Are you doing any trip reports? B

Hi Sharon,

I think I read previously you stayed in Maenam. How was the building work here? We are off to Maenam in August (Samui Buri) so hope these is nothing too horrendous - unfortuatnly we didn't check before booking!

Hi there, yes we will be doing a trip report at some point this coming week so keep looking. Our holiday was fantastic and i'm so lucky that we stayed at Meanam. Fantastic beach, very quiet local town with lots of lovely honest people, what a refreshing thing that was..If you are looking for a something else then you need to be staying at some other resort.
