We are staying at Sarikantang Resort in August for 4 nights with no breakfast. Where would we find good breakfasts near the resort.

Thanks.

Go out and look around. Any simple thai cafe will do.

They have a restaurant in the resort so I am sure you will be able to buy breakfast, for less than 2oobht

There is always the other resorts nearby that will do a breakfast,if not the 7-11 is close by for a toasted tuna sandwich and coke for 46 bht lol.

Most places do full English/American,continental and chinese/thaibreakfast

Hey Mindyme - don't know if you have left for your visit to Sarikantang yet - you can get a really good breakfast at your resort. The staff are wonderful - really friendly. You must try the little cafe on chicken corner in town which serves the best hot chicken sandwiches ever! Bungalows were spot on! You can go out in kayaks they have for guests, and the sunsets are to die for.

We originally stayed at Lighthouse bungalows but it was so hot and no air con that we decided to move to Sarikantang - best idea ever. Do take a walk along the bridge that leads around the island to Lighthouse bungalows - well worth it. Enjoy your stay.

We were very lucky as there was no full moon party so the island was very quiet - the beaches deserted. Be careful when going into the water though as there can be bits of glass from broken bottles - my son cut his foot within a minute of going into sea.
