Phoning Home

What's the cheapest way to phone home? It's a UK business phone so can't use Skype/Viber etc. or text.

Hi

Take an old mobile phone with you once in Thailand get Thai SIM card and use with your old phone. You can get the Thai SIM card at any convenient store the like of 7/11 family's mart the staff even put it in for you. Easy and cheap to call home!!!

FAQ Phones, SIMs, Data

We take old unlocked phones and use them. We don't take Mr Mitchs company phone as the call charges may alert the tax man.

Sorry I did miss the FAQs as using iphone. Daughter is leaving Thailand in a few days so maybe not worth buying a SIM.

If she has a unlocked smartphone, she can go to any phone shop and buy a SIM card. Truemove has 5gb data for 1000baht (20£) and then she can go online, Skype home etc. well worth the money!
