Have no idea, but please and thank you will go a long way here.

There are no private beaches in Thailand, they are for all people and those that claim to be private and really only because they are hard to get to or a hotel has been built to stop any access.

Hello to you

As Cass says there's no private beach in Thailand. Sareeraya located on north of chaweng beach there are hundred of restaurants and bars both on beach and on the main road.

Koh Samui is a small island of only take 2 hours to go around the island by car. So no matter where you're on the island nothing too far to go.

Beach out the front of sareeraya are not the best if compares to southern end of chaweng, cheongmon beach.

Transport there are two types

Songhteaw sharing like bus just flag one down on the road. The fares are per person. But you hire it just for your own.

Taxi the fare are per car.

Excursions : please read on the right hand side of this page FAQs under " favorite things to do"

Hi

Great locals food you have to go off the beach side more so inland. You will see plastics table and chairs or the street stalls with the locals lines up wait for food to be cooked. Don't scares to try them. If you don't make what to order look for the guys next tot you. The food is so cheap even you don't like what you're order you can order a new dishes.

On the beach look for the lady carry some sort of basket. These ladies selling papaya salad ( som Tum) sticky rice, grilled children and fish. You must try.

Friday walking street at bophut fisherman village is a must do and see. There are so many street stalls selling locals food and western as well as cheap cocktails.

BenjaminN, you should also read the FAQ's on the right and in general do somemore research yourself. You will also find if the same question has been asked and answered many times by using the search box at the top.

The FMP is in Koh Phangan. You will finds lots of information on that by using the search box. As obiviously you are not the 1st peron on TA with a question on the FMP.

Good luck.
