Even when there were barricades in BKK (2012?) we still travelled and apart from having to cancel our BKK hotel booking, it was between opposing factions barricades, there was no trouble on KS at all.

Travelling again this June and not concerned at all, looking forward to our annual visit to the land of smiles.

Hi, I have to say much the same. We didn't have any effects in Samui last time and at this stage I can't see it being any different this year. We will also be going to Chiang Mai and Samui in June so we'll just keep an eye on the situation but hope there won't be any problems. Can't wait to get back to Samui!!

We were in Samui when all the Bangkok Riots where on as well as when the recent protests and you would not have known a thing!

Hot and/or wet. You should know that, living in Asia!
