Where to get good Burmese food in Samui

Hi

I have just fallen in love with Burmese food, especially the tea salad!

Is there anywhere in particular in Samui to find it. I have sussed out the ones in Bangkok.

Prefer street food style.

Thanks

hi guys

we have asked our Burmese staff that exact question with no answer except that they mostly cook themselves

or eat the closest thai equivilent

perhaps we could ask them if they would like to make us some authentic food and we could join them in thier camp

we would be up for that

cheers

TM

This may be of some help, maybe lol.

There's a restaurant in South Chaweng on the main beach road, a little north of Ninja Crepes called Samui Kangaroo.

It's a bbq grill place but it's run by 2 Burmese brothers, Solo and Phil. Nice guys, Phil is usually out front and I'm sure wouldn't mind you asking if he knows of anywhere.
