Feedback on staying at Jungle Club.

Hello all.

I will be travelling to Koh Samui with my husband in January from 30 Dec 2014 till 6 January 2015 I booked via AGODA

I did read some reviews here on TripAdvisor but I'm really interested in knowing personal comments on this hotel above.

If any of you ever stayed over or went there, please share your views.

Thanking you in advance

Aren't the reviews placed on TA by people who stay there personal comments?

The OP is worried that some TA reviews may be fake reviews

Looking at the first page of reviews they all seem very real to me, my review is most likely on the 2nd or 3rd page and is real too.

I think the OP is safe in reading the current reviews as real personal comments by people who have stayed a d or visted there.

Since u stayed there, I would to know if its easy to ride up on a scooter. We will be hiring scooter to roam around. I read that 4*4

If there's 2 of you on a scooter you may have trouble getting up the hill.

We were 2 ppl in a small jeep that struggled but did get up the hill, pretty much in 1st gear the whole way up.

The alternate is when at the bottom of the hill, park and call them, they come down in a 4x4 and pick you up, when you want to leave they take you back down, too easy

Well that's a really good advice.

Thank you so much.

But the only problem is that we won't have fix time to get back to the hotel,it might be late in the night or we will go out early morning.

It will be great if they agree to drop or pick us up at any hour :D We will be there for a whole week.

Is it possible to walk up? How many minutes approx?

I'd shoot them an email and ask what times they are usually available to pick up and drop offs.

It's not impossible to do it on a scooter, just get one with a bit more power.

I wouldn't say it's a walk you'd want to do, too long, too steep and too hot.

hahaha why take so much trouble when on holiday.

I will contact them by mail.

Are you people aware regarding the 'compulsory gala dinner' during new year which guests have to pay for?

Is it applicable for 5 star hotel only?

Or should I ask all hotels im staying in?
