There are hundreds of places to stay in and around Pattaya, as Fourb2 says it depends on budget, sort of hotel / resort you are looking for and location area.

Accommodation ranges from cheap budget to mid range 3 star and boutique hotels, small luxury, large family resorts like Centara Grand Mirage to trendy high class hotels like Amari, Dusit D2, the Zign and others at top end such as Hard Rock, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Dusit, Royal Cliff.

There are also hotels with vacation apartments. The choice is limitless so you need to tell us more :)

How much do you want to spend on a hotel room?

When you can get a hotel room with air, TV, private toilet starting around 500 baht on up to over 4000 baht per night - how much do you want to spend?

Read up on Pattaya, do you want a hotel in the Pattaya City area so you can walk to nightlife, malls, street vendors, restaurants, etc. Or, do you want a hotel away from the city area in the Jomtien or Naklua area?

Here is a map of Pattaya City. Pattaya Sai Song and Beach Road is the Pattaya city area, roughly between North Pattaya and South Pattaya Roads. Jomtien is south and Naklua area is north of the dolphin round-about. You can actually swim at the beach in Jomtien, if you are gay you will be happy with the beach area. If you want to avoid nightlife then perhaps a nice little place in the Naklua area will work out.

Since money doesn't seem to be any problem then stay at either the Marriott or the Siam Bay View.

www.hotelclub.com/Siam-Bayview-Hotel-Pattaya/

Both hotels are located near modern malls, street vendors, restaurants, nightlife and travel agencies for tours.

Good luck.
