In short yes it is very easy to get around in Pattaya using Baht Busses, Taxis and Motorcycle Taxis. See the links above

In Pattaya, there's no such thing like bus or train or underground.

Your options are "Song Taew" (a pick up taxi), a motorcycle taxi or some taxi (but may be a bit hard to find). You can get to anywhere by these 3 options, it's not hard at all.

Have fun.

Many, many posts on this subject come up with a forum search. For the forum searches and reading FAQ's use a real computer and not a smart phone.

If your hotel is in the Pattaya City area you can walk to many things. In this Pattaya city area local transportation by baht bus is only 10 baht. But you should read how to use a baht bus first! My suggestion is that if you want to walk to many things and use cheap transportation choose a hotel between North Pattaya Road and South Pattaya Road. Where you see Central Pattaya Road (on the many maps that are on this forum and in the FAQ's) is about the center of Pattaya City. A hotel location on or near Sai Song and Pattaya Beach Road (or on nearby side sois) will allow you to walk to many things.

In Pattaya you can sign on to tours using local travel agencies. Usually choose a tour one day and leave the next morning. They pick up at your hotel and return you there at the end of the day.

Use real computer for FAQ's and forum searches.
