Is anyone addicted to Trip Advisor?

is anyone else addicted to TA?

i sit on here 8 hours a day at work and even more if i log on at home.

This site is soooo addictive i just keep on looking at the forums and i can't tell you how many times a day that would be. My boyfriend says to me of a night "i bet you've been on that website all day at work and now your on it again.. get off" lol

has anyone else been told off by their partner/family for being addicted to TA? or am i just insane?

i think this website is turning into a obsessive complusive disorder for me lol. i love reading all the reviews/forums about Thailand.

keep them coming :-)

no your not the only one. My husband couldn't believe how much time I spent on here. Now that we have had our holiday I am on here less but I'm still on here everyday!

Yes Izzy, I'm just the same.

Though, I may be called a "Lurker" more than a "Poster", I read nearly all the posts and can't wait to get home and turn the computer on. My poor hubby and kids!!

So, I need to start posting more I think, doing my little bit to contribute. My next trip is in another 17 days, so I will have heaps to say soon, you'll probably be telling me to shut up!!

Hi izzy,

None of us are addicted to this site!! it must just be you, i don't spend more than 6 to 26 hours on here in any one week. You have a problem!

Just like the rest of us I think you need help and the best cure is spend more time on the forum its very therapeutic.

Seriously Izzy, its very addictive and once you start posting or commenting its hard the leave the computer.

My wife Jane keeps telling me i am addicted but when i or the kids are not on Jane is on the forum looking.

Keep Posting,

Cheers, Pete.

Must be a girl thing.(Except for you Pete) I also spend an inordinate amount of time on TA. However I must say the Phuket Forum is the best. I think I am addicted to Phuket. This is because of the great information given by so many. We have had great holidays and plan to return often. I guess being in Australia it is a relatively inexpensive holiday for us. Try going to Queensland with a family of 4 for a week!! You don’t get nearly the value you get in Thailand.

Also I think I am falling in love with Joe from Ireland!!! What a great contributor and sounds like a fantastic guy.

I will keep checking TA from work and home and ensuring we have wonderful holiday. Thanks ALL

I did not even know how to turn on a computer until a couple of years ago.

Now I can't wait to see what's happening on TA.

At the moment I am loving Joe's posts , they are so fantastic, He's the real Irish story teller!!!

I, too, will put my hand up and say - Yes, I am a forum addict. At the moment, I'm organising my wedding which takes place in 6 weeks & 2 days - have booked the honeymoon for Phuket & Koh Samui - and I know that often I plan to do housework, paperwork, socialising, and all the extras for the wedding that I should be doing, but then I get on the blo..y forum, and I get way behind. Really, guys, it's much more fun to read all the posts & reviews, than stress about the one day that is going to be so special. I'm not really stressing - it is very exciting to look forward to the big day, but it's only for a few hours, and the honeymoon will be for 9 nights. What would you do??? I just love Phuket, and so does my fabulous fiance, John. So I just prioritize (spelt wrongly, no doubt)

Worse still, I often put John's name on my posts, just to make you think that it's just not me posting - but it really is! Sad, isn't it?

Keep posting, guys - I'll keep reading.
