Kata Beach Hotels

I'm looking to stay at Kata Beach for a couple of nights on my honeymoon, can anyone let me know what hotels are on Kata Beach?

My friend just stayed at Kata Palm. I have not been to that hotel. He said it was very nice, but preferred the Kata Beach Resort. They are very close together.

Last time I went to Samui was about 18 years ago so can't help with that :)

Hi,

I think, for your honeymoon , you can't beat the Marina Hotel.

Beautiful grounds, and on the edge of Karon and Kata beaches!!

Try the Jungle Rooms , just gorgeous.

Hi Janine

We were in Phuket last April and had a look at all the hotels that have been mentioned. The Kata Palm had a superb pool, the only problem with this hotel I feel would be the longish walk to the beach in the heat. If you were going in the off season you probably wouldn't use the beach much, so I think it would be great. The Kata Beach Resort was right on the beach, so that is great, but I didn't think the the pool was as nice.

I thought the Marina was beautiful, in fact we have recently booked to go there next year for our anniversary. I obviously thought that was the best of the three. I didn't see rooms in any of them, only the grounds and pools.

Lindy, we have booked an Ocean Room because we love the ocean views. Can you see the ocean from the jungle rooms?

Hi djh1,

No you can't see the ocean from the Jungle Rooms , you are surruoned by Jungle with birds , butterflies and squirrels.

Lee, another forum member stayed in a seaview room about the same time as us and she has said there are trees that obstruct the view a bit. She said her room was nice but the Jungle rooms are newer and she probably would get one if there again.

Wherever you go make sure they know it is your honeymoon, you will be well looked after.

We will be at the Marina again in May, but will only have a Garden room this time( finances), but hope we get some sort of view.

It is a lovely hotel and there package is great.

Cheers Lindy.
