1. Re: Airport to hotel.

sorry can't help.

Although if you don't get anyone at the airport, try and get a metered taxi! We tried to find some but when we asked the people giving transport, they said there was none. Talk about crap.

There are people that try to get you in their car and stuff and try to rip you off which you have to bargain and they don't care as long as they get you and your money, quite scary going there the first time.

We eventually opted for a van that had people and were taking us all to patong beach and we were the last 2 people in the van so didn't wait for long and paid a small price, 150bht although for your destination not sure although ask when you get out of the hotel if you don't get a contact for a transfer

It's only 2 of us going and I have discovered the delights of Chang beer (try before you buy !!), from our local bottle shop.Doesn't taste too bad either.

Could be an option when the going gets too tough on the shopping front.

There again , I am sure us blokes have to go shopping , so there is somebody to carry it all.

All part of the fun,

Cheers ,

Bill.
