Should I book John Gray Online?

Should I book John Gray Online?

I have read conflicting things about booking the John Gray Starlight tour. I will be staying at the JW Marriott next week. The price appears to be 3950 THB if I book online through the John Gray website. If I wait to book through the hotel or at a kiosk, can I get a better deal?

Hi. If you are staying at the Marriott, you will probably pay top dollar there anyway. I don't think there are any other travel agents anywhere near the Marriott, but I may be wrong.

I suggest you book on line. That way the people that provide the sevice don't have to pay commision to the agents, and you know you have your place secured.

You may have a problem organising transfers, make sure they know you are at the Marriott.

Have a great day, it is a high quality tour.

Yes, book with John online. It's more fair to him, as most of the agents are extremely slow to pay him for bookings, plus there's less chance of paying extra.

This is the best tour by far!!

did it 12 months ago, some of the other tours you are like a sardine packed into a can, this was real value for money with out the crowds!! spend the money and book you will not be dissapointed and the food onboard was awsome!!

That's a good point Athena, until I talked with Mark I had know idea about payments and how long it takes for the operators to be paid.

Even if it costs us a few more Baht it is well worth it to know the families involved have wages this week.

We have been on John Gray's Hongs by Starlight twice

and this tour is one of our highlights in Phuket.

Worth every cent!! (Or Baht).
