Laguna complex - which one best with kids (or JW Marriott)

Hi we are looking at the lugana complex for 5 days .(After staying in Karon for a week)

One criticism I see is that some people felt it was a bit tired and dated . We have 2 kids 3yr and 5yr, Friends stayed 10 y ago and enjoyed it.

The other place we were looking at up that way was the JW Marriott

Does anyone think one is clearly better than the other to stay in and are there good and bad wings / villas which seem to be common in some hotels .

It seems kids under 4 need a "babysitter" in the kids clubs , any idea of prices for this out of interest.

many thanks

Hi Mike,

we are heading to the Sheraton in a couple of weeks and I have been told first hand that the VIK club there is great for the littlies.

They have many hands on activities for the kids...not just video games etc.

We are staying at a Private Pool Villa and have heard these are great (at least I hope they are!!lol).

I have also heard that the JW Marriot is supposed to be very good too.

Good luck and have agreat time.

I can't compare hotels but we stayed at the Sheraton last November and loved it. I heard that it was great for kiddies. They would love the elephants that visited every day and played on the beach and swam. Our room was lovely there and there are nice beach restaurants nearby if you want a change from eating at the hotel.
