Lemon Grass Restaurant Surin Beach

Has anyone been there lately? Is it still good. Any other recommendations for Thai food in Surin - not westernized. We use to ask for Thai style at Lemon Grass and it was good.

Yes Lemongrass is still there and going strong......very good Thai food and reasonable. Chud who runs it is also a very talented artist and you can nip downstairs and see some of his work in his gallery/shop. Also very reasonable and we had a couple shipped back this year.......and they look great.

On the beach itself if you turn right and walk past Coast the first restaurant you come to is also excellent and very cheap......I think it is called Arno's but i might have just made that up.

Have you tried Silk at Kamala?? used to be in surin plaza, more exp than lemongrass but very nice setting and excellent food. they have a comp shuttle that will pick you up and return you to surin area

Cheers

Have not tried Silk - I though it might be too touristy. We will be there over Easter too. We are doing The Catch Friday night BBQ and the oriental spoon brunch so we would like something more local for the rest of the time.

Maybe will will see you there
