Is there a cure?

Just finished booking our third trip to Thailand.

Took our first trip in 2010 to Samui for our 10th wedding anniversary. Couldn't resist another trip this year to Phuket (our 11th wedding anniversary?). And have now just booked for June next year, this time with the kids.

Just wondering if there is a cure for Phuketism? Does the allure eventually wear off or am I destined to make the yearly pilgrimage :)

Oh yes, there's a cure - go to somewhere different in Thailand - there are FAR better places - Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Khao Lak ......!

Thanks MizzTraveller, I'm sure we will as it's not actually Phuketism that we have but just the general addiction to Thailand.

Love the place and the people and hope to travel throughout the country.

Prevention is better than the cure - just keep repeating the medicine, :-) But try different brands.

we are still "newbies" by most standards, heading off for our 4th visit since 2008 in June. I think my husband "regrets" ever taking me there in the first place - hahahaha - the bug has bitten very hard and looks set never to go away. Enjoy!!!
