What's included on night flights?

We are travelling to Phuket on Thai Air in October after losing our original Air Australia fare. I see that Thai is a full service flight. Both trips will be during the night. Do they still supply a meal on these night flights? Not sure whether to eat up before we board?? Outward flight leaves after midnight (Boeing 777-300) and home flight leaves 9.30pm (Just says Boeing 777). And does anyone know if these planes have inseat entertainment??

When I last flew Thai a few years ago on the overnight flights they served dinner & quite possibly breakfast. I regards in inflight entertainment I'm pretty sure that at that stage it wasn't built into seats but is now. Just get in Thais web site & it should tell you

We are flying with them in June. If you check your booking on the thai site it will tell you which aircraft you are on. We are on the 300 1 way and the 200 the other way. Therefore I think that the 300 has inflight seat backed entertainment but the 200 doesn't.

This is from the thai website.

Flights from Australia feature personal entertainment systems and LCD screens with Audio Visual On Demand (AVOD) onboard Boeing 777, Airbus A330-300 or Airbus 340-600 aircraft. The entertainment system offer the latest in movies, popular TV shows, games, music and documentaries.

Regarding food it is hard to find out. I think we get a snack as the first meal and breakfast but am not completly sure. Our flight is at 11.30pm at night as daylight saving isn't in.

The 777 200ER has Audio Visual On Demand but not the 200 so it depends on what plane you get.

Have a look at seat guru.

And through the night they come round often with water/juices in case anyone is awake and thirsty.
