Hi

Although I have never dealt with them, Siam Real Estate seems popular. Otherwise if you want to get a really cheaper deal then it would be best if you came here and checked into temporary accommodation. This way you could drive around and look for the house rental signs....they are everywhere. This way you can negotiate directly with the owners.

What exactly are you looking for, house / condo and for how long, which area, budget ?

For real estate there are plenty, but then again they would be the sort of agent that rents to foreigners anyway and prcied accordingly.

The Thai way is different, word of mouth, sign hanging on a gate style and you search around the area you want until you find something..

You will have to pay deposit + 1 month advance, always think of location and availability of transport

Most important make sure you know the visa rules about staying

L0vetravelling84 - worried for your sake where you are getting this information from ( ? )

Very confusing this,

There is no such visa as a "working holiday visa" in Thailand.

There is also no such thing as a "work visa" no such thing exists.

In order to Work you first have to apply for a B visa based on paperwork from future employer, and that then allows prosepctive employer to apply for a work permit, that requires them to do all the necessary paperwork. You cannot work until you find if that is approved. If that is approved that is for that company at a specific location, working for them.

You are Not going to get Residency in 3 years

Where are you getting this information from ?
