Freedom Beach & Paradise Beach

We are wanting to visit Freedom Beach & Paradise Beach when we return to Patong in Late November this year.

We are staying at the north end of Patong and were hoping to take a longtail boat to get to these beaches - just for the morning and on separate days.

Could anyone please help us out and provide advice on :

1. How & where do we get a longtail boat & how much would we expect to pay (there are 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 teenagers)?

2. Do you need to get out to these beaches early to secure sun lounges?

3. Do they have food/drinks available for purchase & toilet facilities?

4. Are these beaches worth visiting?

Thanks in advance for your help

Can anyone help out with this or are these beaches just a poor choice and not worth the trouble.

Note that we are also doing the PhiPhi & Phang Nga day trips

Thanks for any advice on offer

If you staying on the north end of Patong you could take a longtail boat from Kalim beach (opposite 5!5! On The Beach - restaurant/bar). You could do both beaches in a day. And yes, there are facilities at both beaches.

Price not sure but likely 1200 Thb for the day.
