Phuket airport to Koh Phi Phi

Our flight will be arriving at 2:15am and we need to catch the 8:30am ferry to Koh Phi Phi, can any one tell me if it they think we can make the ferry if we catch the 6am public transfer bus from the airport and then then small pink bus to Rassada pier? Or would it wiser to just to buy a complete package at the airport that includes transfer and ferry crossing? (We are going in November)

We are on a tight budget but we cant miss the 8:30am crossing.

Also there ate conflicting opinions on weather it is cheaper to book online the crossing or at the pier can anyone help?

Thank you for your help.

Book the ferry online inclusive of the transfers. Will be cheaper than booking on the spot. You should make the ferry with your 2 bus services, but it won't be with much time to spare.

Do you think that getting a shared mini bus would be safer in terms of time and also cheaper than the taxi? Ive been quoted 700 baht for two people taxi ride from the Airport to Rassada Pier. Does this seem like the average price?

Thanks

Sorry, but how can a shared van be faster than a taxi? Yes, it will be cheaper.

Easiest option, as mentioned: book the ferry inclusive of transfers.
