Can only answer one question sorry....My choice would be Khao Lak......Absolutely wonderful...!!...To get there,I would hire Bosscheaperthanhotels.com taxi service.....His prices are reputadely the best....

Then it depends on your budget for accomodation.....but there are many places to stay at in KL.....

Koh Phi Phi and Phang Nga are ok and beautiful and worth a looksee....

Hi

Crikey you have left it late to book, many hotels will be busy and booked.

You only have 2 weeks . . . .

Should we go to Phi Phi,Khao Lak,Phang-nga,etc?

A] Phi Phi are two islands about 1 hour from Krabi and 90mins from Phuket [by speedboat] they are really busy and IMO are very overated. Maya Bay beach is truly beautiful, but you have to be there early to avoid the packed crowds that head there.

Khao Lak is a range of beaches about 1 hour north of Phuket. Pretty laid back, with busy beaches and pretty quiet ones too. Always a range of bars and restaurants.

Phang Nga bay is the large expanse of sea between Krabi and Phuket. Lots of lovely limestone islands. Worth visiting on a day trip, the home to the very overated James Bong island. Please do go with one of the better tour providers like Phuket Sail Tours or Phuket Alternative tours.

What is the best means of transport from Phuket to Krabi,

A] Ferry / bus / taxi

nearest port etc.

A] Phuket Town or Krabi town . . . [yes honestly]

with only 2 weeks and with what sounds like nearly a week prebooked you could do one of two things. Do day tours our of Phuket and / or Krabi, OR spend a few days in Khao Lak.

You need to read up on these see what appeals most and then see what is available - as boy oh boy have you left it late!

Look at Koh Lanta and Khoa Lak.

I would just do Phi phi as a day trip.
