Rawai

Hi, now that the evasion is shut is there a hotel of a similar standard in this area, which would give easy access to the beach restaurants at rawai beach .

Have not been to this part of Phuket since the evasion was branded as the Phuket Island resort .

Agree with thephuketian, Serenty is a nice place, perhaps not one of the best beaches, but the hotel is very nice, the view is great.

Sorry, disagree.

Serentiy is too far away from the Rawai Beach restaurants, it really does not give access to them.

Rawai Palm Beach would be a much better choice for this. Also Vijit Resort and Mangosteen would be closer, although IMO still too far to 'give access'.

Rawai Palm Beach is a nice hotel. Easy walk to all the restaurants that Rawai has to offer. We had a pool access room and it was nice.

We stayed at Mangosteen, it was a long walk down to the cafe's etc but a cheap taxi ride. Following suggestions when we were there I understand their hourly free shuttle to NaiHarn Beach now also goes via Rawai Beach.

Serenity and Vijit are close to Mangosteen, so still 1.5-2 kms to the beach.

Serenity to Vijit (and Mangosteen) is already 2 k or so, so from Serenity to the start of the beach would be around 4k I guess.
