Hi there

Can anyone tell me where the Kata night market is. Have seen a couple of posts refer to it.

Many thanks in advance

On a Monday and Thursday. On the road that leads towards the beach from opposite the main fresh market on Patak Road. The night market is opposite a hotel called Kata Chaba. Theres a new night market next to the traditional night market. The new one is open every day but I don't know if it has the same variety as the Monday/Thursday one, especially regarding the food.

Thank you so much for info. This may be a silly question but not been to Phuket before so don't know but is Kata night market different to the Karon Temple Market?

Many thanks again x

In terms of the type of market then no, they're basically the same. Except the daily market at Kata seems to have live music and a little bar most nights.

In terms of location, Yes, they're in different places. The Karon Temple market is in Karon... at the temple haha. It's on different nights - I think Karon is Saturday and Tuesday but not sure about that.

That's correct. The night market at Karon Temple is held on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
