Vietnam Airlines VS. Pacific Airlines

Hello

Can anyone tell me if there's a difference between Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines? Is one better/safer than the other?

Many thanks!

Pacific Airlines is the Low Cost carrier, any way, it's safe, the fare is cheaper than vietnam airlines cause on Pacific Airlines, not offer free soft drinks & food, guest has to pay

Vietnam Airlines often use bigger plane but sometimes use small plane

For luxury, use Vietnam Airlines, for budget use Pacific airlines

We used Vietnam Airlines and found them cheap by Australian standards. The service was excellent and the plane itself was well maintained and comfortable. I'd fly with them again without a heartbeat's hestiation.

Vn airlines from saigon to dalat and nha trang to hanoi, then hanoi to saigon by Pacific airlines. Both were fine - more than adequate leg room for 1.9m tall guy. No complaints about anything.

I was unsure about Pacific before we flew (Asian budget airline and all the connotations that brings up)but really it's fine - modern, professional, western pilot!!!! cheap too.
