I can recommend Jennys Bamboo Restaurant & Bar.

Great service, friendly English speaking staff.

Very good Western selection and Vietnamese food.

Cold Beer.

Jennys very interesting lady from Australia who has lived in Vietnam for the past 4 years.

This website will help you with all things Hoi An. The list of restaurants is very good. I ate in a few of the places on the list and was quite pleased. Omar Indian restaurant was particularly good.

Hey , just forget the recommendations and walk around. Its not really a big place and you will soon find somewhere to have a drink that may be the place to eat as well.

HoiAn is really easy to get oriented around and is not at all the sort of place where you will feel under any pressure to step inside.

Anywhere along the river is worth a look with more places opening and competition starting to open up, although being HoiAn competion is very good natured at the moment
