Possible to tour hospital?

I am a nurse here in the USA. I would love to tour a hospital in Hanoi when I am there (April 2010) Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could set up a tour? I am more then willing to purchase some supplies or make a donation for the hospital.

Thank you!

It is not that hard. When we visit the wife usually tries to visit a hospital or two. What she does is the day before the desired visit she meets with the hospital admin office and sets it up. We visit and normally make a donation to the hospital fund to care for the folks that cannot pay for medicians normally $100, she also hands out $10 - $20 each to different folks she sees that are in need until she hits a couple of hundred dollars. Thiis lets the families get the medical care for the sick. If you are a nurse you might be able to donate some time at teh hospital you choose. You might also talk to a couple of doctors where you work and see if they have connections to any doctors that do FREE Visits to Hanoi. Good luck.

dedro

please do not donate anything in vietn. money just go to someone pocket.

Not when you stand there and watch were it goes. If you give to some big orgainization then yes, it goes into the wrong pockets, but when it is handed to the person that needs it, it is not wrong.
