Dinner cruise?

We are honeymooning in Asia, and our first stop is 5 nights in HCMC.

We would like to do a dinner cruise on the river some evening - does anybody have any recommendations of the best one to go on or ones to avoid?

Hello,

I would like to suggest to you some cruises in HCMC:

- Bonsai cruise: It's an interested place for foreign tourists with the buffet dinner on cruise. The food is good and always has music show while enjoying your meal.

- In addion, you can choose Indochina Junk cruise, this is also one of the best cruises for tourists to have a delicious dinner on cruise and admire the beautiful nightlife of HCMC

Really not worth it in my opinion. Little to see on the river at night, the smell can put you off your dinner, and the food is never as good as you'd get in a proper restaurant. Skip it and eat on land, and save your river trip for the day when you can actually see stuff (Les Rives are probably the best boat trip operator).

Just be wary so far the only one recommended you do a cruise appear to be travel agents, listen to travellers not them

If you do insist on doing a dinner cruise, then Bonsai is the best. But it's a waste of money to do one at all.
