Is PP a late town?

Arriving PP around 9pm mid week. Too late to grab a tuk tuk and find some dinner/bar? Where should we head?

I noticed that Cambodians tend to turn in much earlier and get up much earlier than in US or Europe. So by 9pm most places are winding down. However the bars and restaurants near the riverside quay between 100 and 130 Streets are open later.

You won't have any trouble finding lots of restaurants and watering holes in Sisowarth Quay, which is the area E150 mentioned. If you get the taxi driver to drop you at the Foreign Correspondent's Club (FCC) you'll be right where it's all happening. When you get out of the taxi, facing the river, walk to your left and choose a place that takes your fancy.

Phnom Penh has something for everyone and for all tastes.

Quite a few places go through to virtually dawn if you have the stamina.

Just scroll through those mentioned in this lead for starters.


Plus any number more for those not going to work the next morning.
