Kudat advice

Hi

I'm looking to go to Kudat for a few nights and wondered if anybody has advice on accommodation at the cheaper end of things.

There will be 2 of us and we are looking for somewhere nice to go where we can go snorkelling so if you know of any other places in that area that are quite easy to get to and cheap then any advice would be great

Thanks

Matt

Hi there,

Frankly, Kudat is a 'non-tourist' town. However if you are there, you might want to visit Simpang Mengayau (a.k.a tip of Borneo) or island hoping to Pulau Banggi.

As for accommodation at the cheaper end check out the link below:-

All the best!

Thanks for the replies.

When you say its a 'non tourist' town do you just mean that not a lot of tourists go there? If so this would be better for us.

I will be travelling there tomorrow because we are only in Borneo for 1 more week.

Yup, not many attractions but they say Kudat has the best sunset in Sabah. Dunno whether its true or not, have not been there.

Best sunset in Sabah...mmm.....should be. Coz 'technically' Simpang Mengayau is at the tip of Borneo overlooking the South China Sea.
