All-inclusive packages in Maldives

As I understand it, all-inclusive packages will also serve alcoholic drinks and coctails.

Perhaps only local alcoholic beverages will be served, but what about red wine, my favorite drink, is it normally included in the all-in packages as well?

It‘s sometimes strange to ask resorts and hotels, before booking.

Hi Traveler

Yes the all-inclusive normally includes house red, white or rose, beer and soft drinks along with local spirits.

It can vary slightly from island to island though. Which island are you considering?

I don't know the packages at those islands, have you checked on their websites?

It‘s not written what kind of alcohol they serve, even they no answer. Maybe is not allowed to answer those questions.

Possibly....

If no one else answers on here, maybe email the islands as most are pretty good at answering queries.

Mudhdhoo is the local name for Dusit Thani Maldives and Horubadhoo seems to be Royal Island.

Both of these islands should respond with details of their AI package inclusions if this information is not on their websites.

Maldivian resorts often publish details of their AI plans on their websites, but will be happy to provide you with these if you contact them, asking any specific questions when you do. It's usual for "house" wines to be provided in entry level all inclusive plans, though champagne/prosecco are not always included.

Try these emails for the two resorts you've mentioned:

resmaldives@dusit.com

hello@villaresorts.com (for Royal Island)

Thanks a lot, I will write to them.

But may I ask what the local red wine tastes like?

I wonder from what island "local" Maledivian wine would be from... or "local alcoholic beverages"...

If you are targeting a guesthouse on a local island, no need to ask: they won't have any alcohol, not local, not imported.

...

ok, just spotted your other post where you name the resort. They will serve alcohol.
