Pick my next island

I am looking for my next island. These are the criteria. So far I have only found one island that ticks all the boxes, but are there any others out there, that I am missing?

Musts:

Excellent house reef, close to shore (at least in places) and preferably be able to snorkel the circumference of the island.

Be able to walk around the circumference of the island on the sand

Modern rooms and furnishings

Outside bathroom

Restaurant and bar with sea views

Excellent food and service

Padded sun loungers

Wide, white powder soft beach

Lots of beach space, palm trees with fruit bats and a blue lagoon

Robinson Crusoe feel

Mid to smallish island

Aircon and hot water

Quiet, relaxing and romantic, with few children and guests to be spread out.

Wi-fi (if possible)

Be under £6K including flights from the UK. (This rules out Athuruga, Mirihi and Thudafushi, unless possibly going in the very low season)

Mustn't have:

Too much visible entertainment or water sport

Segregation per room type

AI wrist bands

Views of industrial islands or Male

Rooms in blocks

White plastic furniture as main source of seating

Pretentious or rowdy guests

Paved paths and roads or vehicles (more than an odd golf buggy)

Ugly sea defences

Table sharing

Not fussed about:

Room type - although a sea view or WV would be great

How we get there i.e. seaplane, boat or plane

Pool, plunge pool or Jacuzzi

Flat screen TV's and other gadgets like a Nespresso machines (a kettle would be convenient though)

Multiple bars and restaurants

Board basis - but prefer at least HB.

Not that I am fussy or anything! And if the island had at least one cat that would make it ...well just perfect.

Once past the pearly gates, this is what all of us would like! Apart from the cat....

Angaga has two cats, one a lovely friendly Birman, but I think you ruled it out before because of 'room segregation'?

Otherwise, it meets your criteria!

Sounds fabulous. If you find this island, please share the name with me :)

Sadly, although I loved Reethi Beach, it does not have an excellent house reef - in my opinion! Apart from that, though, it was a great island.

'Segregation per room type' - T23, you must know you are describing Angaga and it fits the price range, so is this what's worrying you? The reviews by the Chinese guests?

Not that there was anything wrong with the rooms, but I wouldn't describe the furnishings at Angaga modern, nor the food excellent.

None of the resorts we've had experience of fit all of those criteria. I've a feeling T23 already knows the answer to this one....

True, food was not excellent on Angaga and I think the sunbeds were white plastic. This didn't bother me.

I'd like to know which one T23 has already discovered which fits all the criteria and is under 6K! Robinson Club's too expensive, isn't it?
