If cost/work wasn't an issue, which month would you pick?

Just a rainy Sunday afternoon thread to pick over!

My ideal visit would be the last two weeks of March, as the sea has warmed up then (it's actually colder in Jan and Feb) and there's no record of the monsoon change starting in March, to my knowledge!

Am expecting different answers, as I know it's too hot then for some people.

You're only allowed a fortnight!

I have always wanted to go to celebrate my birthday, which is in the first week of February. Because no other place compares to the beauty of the Maldives. Thankfully my wish is going to come true because I will be there next February. Angaga here I come.

You'll love Angaga!

It's the only island we've booked to return to out of the paltry four we've visited. Going first week of April 2012 - hoping weather will be as good as it usually is then.

Cyclones - stay away!!

Xmas and new year, plus it's my birthday then also,,,

Our issue is not usually work,,,it's school times and this Xmas it's exam time as soon as she returns so can only get a few days away due to study requirements seemingly.

I guess in Another 3 or 4 years we will be able to go when we want. Sigh, as she, fingers crossed, will be off to uni.

It will be very strange.

She might still want to come, Froggy. My friend's daughter is 27, has a boyfriend, and nothing would stop her joining the annual family Maldives holiday. They do help her out with the fare as she's still paying off student loans and BF can't afford it so stays at home!

Indeed Froggy, I myself am 24 and still go to uni (my break starts at feb 1st until feb 10th). I go still go on holidays with my parents if they do long haul. And in February, I always go away with my mother for a girls trip which we both love.

Thanks Xarla, I hope the weather will be nice for us too :) and hope that Angaga will be as good as our previous islands.

Yes, we just talked about it over dinner, she is adamant she will still come with us. Hubby is adamant we will go in term time and she wont. Lol.i guess it will be a mixture of both:))

The truth is though,,,it gives us an option to go at other times..when right now it's not an option,,.
