Best house reef ( that we can afford )?

Hi,

We would appreciate any helpful advice. We are looking, at South Ari Atoll, but still undecided. Hoping to see whale sharks. I like to scuba and Claire likes to snorkel. We enjoy nice food (who doesn't), but are not big drinkers.

Going late March. Trying to stay below $6000 for six nights (not including flights, but hopefully including transfers)

We love the idea of an over water hut, but that's negotiable too. Prefer full board/all inclusive.

Where would you recommend?

Diving out of Ellaidhoo in October last year - there is a site about an hour away. We were snorkelling because our dive was planned for Hasfa with grey reef sharks but we did snorkel with a couple of whale sharks and mantas. Ellaidhoo also put on dive and snorkel trips for as long as the whales sharks were around - the day after our dive trip the snorkel trip snorkelled with a whale shark, mantas and dolphins - they all come back buzzing from the experience and the days of stormy rainshowers were soon forgotten.
