Would you go to Biyadhoo in October?

We have seen a great offer to go to Biyadhoo in October. Appreciate it is in the rainy season, but the offer is cheaper than going to Greece for a week. Given the option, which would you go for?.

No question, Biyadhoo!! It's a great island as long as you don't mind basic rooms in a block.

Why wouldn't you go to Biyadhoo in October? If you have the chance, go! Though as Bella says it's a long way to go for a week. But if it's your only chance of visiting, GO!!!! but I'm a bit biased... ;-)

Mmmm - I am going to fly into a storm here - I would not choose Biyadhoo.

For my visit the room walls showed signs of decay, the shower pressure was non existent, the food quality was very poor - and the management basically told me the place was being allowed to run down as it would be completely revamped into a 5 star property in the near future. The only saving grace perceived by some holidaymakers was the quality of snorkeling, but from recent reviews that too is now not as good as it used to be.

I would consider Adaaran Club Rannalhi instead.

As we all know however - you will have a great trip wherever you go.

Thanks

Richard

We have been to Biyadhoo previously and found it refreshingly laid back. Your description of the island seems to differ from what is said on your website.

There is other resorts in the same price bracket, why do you only have biya or Greece as an option?

What about fihaholhi, embudu or eriyadhoo? Do you have an agent who does not really offer much? If so, find a better agent, the Maldives beats Greece hands down.

Hello Cleggsquare

Thanks for pointing out our omissions - amendments now duly made.
