Excess baggage fees? - Internal flight to Six Senses

Hi,

We go to Six Senses on Friday and were just wondering if anyone knew what the baggage allowance would be on the internal flight? - Also any idea how much we would be charged if over weight and are they strict about this?

Many thanks

Hi Lisa

Which airline are you flying with ?

If you have a sea plane transfer to your resort island from Male your allowance is 20kg + 5kg hand luggage and it around 5usd per kg over ..

Good luck

Darryl

Thanks Daryl - it's not a sea plane transfer but a domestic internal flight.

Anyone got any idea what the luggage allowance is?

Thanks

On our internal flight the allowance was 20 + 5

No idea about excess as we are never over

Hello Lins and Kev

I have just spent 2 nights on SSLL - had 28Kg in suitcase, plus 13Kg hand luggage - I have bought a lot of gifts !

I fortunately was not charged any excess (the domestic flight has 2/3 empty going and 1/2 empty returning) - a few kilos over they do not worry about, the charge is as quoted by Darryl otherwise.

Hope you have a great trip

Hi L&K

It was fabulous - rooms are large, dining is incredible - and I really love the overwater communal complex, it works really well.

SSLL is now in my top 5 - when they add swimming pools to rooms later this year I would also consider returning with my young family.

Enjoy

Hi Richard

Do you mind revealing what resorts are your Top 5, good to know SSLL is on the list and I believe Anantara Kihavah and Four Seasons LG but what are the other two?

Hello

Not in order :-

SSLL

Anantara Kihavah

Four Seasons LG

Constance Moofushi

Soneva Fushi

but it should be appreciated that the islands are continually updating and changing - thus in 6 months the list will probably have changed.

Thanks

Richard
