I'm planning on heading to Mongolia in mid-Jan via train from Beijing and being there for a few days. As I'm leaving Sydney soon, I don;t think I'll be able to get a Mongolian visa while I'm in Australia as the embassy in Canberra will take more than a few days [especially around New years] to get it processed.
My question is; have people got Mongolian Visas done at the embassy in Beijing? This is a possibility for me as I will have 4 or 5 days to play around there...
Or, is on-entry arrival visa possible at the border where the train crosses [for an Aussie passport, I'm reading that's it is not...]
If anyone has any light to shed, that would be sweet.
