arugam bay to embilipitaya

We have booked hotels in Arugam Bay and Embilipitaya/udawalawe national park over the Christmas period. We have to get from Arugam to Udawalawe in one day. Can anybody give me advice as to the transport options for this trip? Thank you.

There is always public transport...in this case only buses. Colombo pottuvil bus will take you to Udawalawe from A'bay. It leaves pottuvil at 6.00 pm as far i can remember. There is a government operated bus leaving pottuvil as well which i am not so sure of the time but i assume its the early morning hours.

Thanks for the information. Might I ask if you know if there is a website for timetable for government operated buses you mentioned. Thank you in anticipation for your help.

You will hardly find any bus timetables online.
