Beach wedding and safari in Sri Lanka?

We would like to get married barefoot on a quiet beautiful beach. We will have 10 guests with us so a small wedding, also non-religious.

We plan to stay 7 days, have the wedding on the 5th or 6th day (on quiet beach), family all go home on day 7 and we stay another 7 days perhaps somewhere else in Sri Lanka or nearby island

Would like to be close to do activities like safari, see wildlife, go walking, and go snorkeling

Any advise please?

thanks,

As mentioned above, last two weeks of March and Mirissa or Thalpe-Unuwatuna beach. Nice afternoon weather upto 3-4 PM is 95% guaranteed, after that only 80% as even late March some late afternoon clouds and showers can pop up. Jan-Feb the chances for your perfect weather are closer to 100%...

All the best,

Search for villas and small hotels that are located in the areas described above.

I know a party that had a great barefoot wedding at "Old Lady by the Sea". There are dozens of similar places along the SW coast. Once you short list a few villas that you find attractive, start contacting them for quotes. etc

It's probably easier to book the whole property for a few days, but do keep in mind that Jan/Feb is peak season.
