Resort guide to turkey for young couples!!

Hi all,

Does anyone know the best resort to go in turkey for young couples??

Our budget is mid range/high but dont want it too sleepy??(but also not like magaluf!!). heard good things about icmeler near marmaris?? but sounds too far from airport..

we would like a quality resort with nice beach and loads of restuarants that isnt 2 hours from an airport??

Many thanks all

I would have said Icmeler but if you don't want the travelling I would now recommend Antalya, the buzz of the city but also a beach resort. (Not Lara but the city itself)

Have a look at Gumbet, it is a lively, fun resort, great for young couples and about 45 minutes from Bodrum airport.

There is a good choice of accomodation, you can either go self catering in an apartment or go for a hotel, either b&b or half board, there are a couple fo decent AI hotels but they aern't cheap, I wouldn't recommend any of the cheap AIs though. There are lots of good restaurants there and plenty of bars too.

The beach is good, and there are loads of things to do see and do in the surounding area .

Hi there

Olu Deniz is a lovely resort. It can take a couple of hours if you use the tour companies coach from Dalaman, but I think it's as little as an hour if you book private transfers.

OD is smaller than Icmeler, and is a purpose built resort. It is quite stunning, with the blue lagoon on one side, and the Babadag mountains behind. It's very laid back and friendly, with predominantly British holidaymakers. A 10 minute dolmus ride takes you into the mountains, to the resort of Hisaronu, which is a lot livelier than Olu Deniz, or the same dolmus will take you into Fethiye. Fethiye is a small Turkish working town, with a lively harbour area, and the old town of Paspatur among its attractions.

Olu Deniz has lots of excellent bars and restaurants on offer, and the resort is small enough for everything to be within easy walking distance, wherever you are staying.

Sorry, can't answer your question on the hotels.
