Medication

Hi all,

I am going to turkey in a few days and i am on a lot of medication. I was wondering if i need to worry about taking this to turkey. Are there any meds that are not allowed in Turkey?

I live in the UK

Thanks

Medications in labeled pharmacy bottles can be brought into Turkey. Injections needles needed for those with diabetes are also allowed, but it would be helpful if you have a doctor’s note or copy of your prescription with you.

robertgreen99, you can bring in all your medications to Turkey. They should be in their original bottles and you should have your presriptions with you. In fact 95% of the medicines are sold without presription in Turkey and customs inspections at the airport are very rare.

With regard to medications: what about medications that are sold over the counter in one's own country (in my case, the U.S.)? Has anyone had a problem with bringing those in to Turkey?
